I am Shruti Chaturvedi, a media entrepreneur and a resident of Goa.
For the last two weeks, a team of 60+ young volunteers from Goa Emergency Relief have been working towards providing relief for covid positive people in Goa - be it food, medicines, finding hospitals, testing, oxygen, etc.
Our Public Toolkit & Emergency Relief Group has thus far helped thousands of Goans get emergency help during these testing times. While doing this, we have come across many Goans who are not getting the right treatment because they cannot afford one.
We believe that no one should be deprived of quality healthcare because of financial reasons.
We are starting this fundraiser to help foot some bills of disadvantaged Goans to cover their hospital, testing & medication expenses. We are also looking at buying some oxygen concentrators which can further be donated at hospitals to help the needy patients.

Happy to share that with your contribution, we have placed an order for 7 High-Flow (10 L) Oxygen Concentrators. These OCs will be community-owned for Goans and will keep rotating among the community depending on whoever needs them. Additionally, we will also be donating 4-5 OCs (depending on the fundraising amount and our expenses) to GMC and North Goa District Hospital as they have a requirement.
The delivery date for these OCs is expected around 8th or 10th May 2021. Will keep you posted.
