HELP US SAVE LIVES IN GUJARAT BY PROVIDING OXYGEN

The Covid crisis has cost us millions of lives around the world. One after the other, countries had to face the devastating outcome of this virus. India at this hour is  severely grappling to contain this deadly contagion.  

The Indian community abroad has always looked at India with great respect and admiration. At this hour of crisis, we appeal to you - the international community - to stand by us and lend us your helping hand so that we can quickly overcome the horrific situation unfolding in front of us. 

We already have initiated a crowdfunding campaign in India where we have gathered over 10,000 dollars. It is a big step towards our final target of 81,000 dollars. 

As you might know, the situation is so desperate that people are forced to run from pillar to post in order to get basic medical facilities and still their requirements aren't met. This is why we are turning to you for help.  

This is an unprecedented medical emergency and we are losing lives because of the unavailability of medical oxygen. The health system is collapsing and it is our duty as global citizens to save our own  people across the border who needs your support. 

More than 2 lakh people have died due to the virus in India alone. Hospitals have run out of both bed and oxygen. Before the situation turns more fragile, you can rescue us by your support. 

We The People Foundation in association with Setu Centre for Social Knowledge and Action has launched this crowdfunding campaign to set up an Oxygen Plant and purchase around 15 oxygen Concentrators in  Gujarat. We need 71,000 dollars and more to make this possible.  Any additional amount will only be used to procure more Oxygen Concentrators.

As global citizens who love India or as Indian expats or just for humanity's sake we appeal you to donate and help us set up medical facilities required to save lives of people.

1. The Cost of setting up an oxygen plant - 40,000- 45,000 dollars
   Timeline: 8-10 days.
2. Cost of Oxygen Concentrators - around 1400 dollars per machine + delivery cost.
   Timeline: 8-10 days.
3. The funds would also be used in providing necessary medical aid as per the needs of the patients like the purchase of ventilators, essential drugs for treatment and other equipment as the need arises further.

We need your help as soon as possible to save as many lives as we can!
