Hopeful Cases is a NYC based charity that uses busking and street performing to help combat the ever growing problem of homelessness and poverty on a interpersonal level. We send performers down into the subways and into the streets to play for those who have, and give to those who have not. Our mission is simple:
If you are homeless or need help, take as much as you need from the case.
Our musicians do not take money from the case, and they do not take a salary. We are New Yorkers who care and people who love to play music.
We are here to give,
not to judge.
Our goal is to have a Hopeful Cases performer on every major subway platform across the city offering both financial help and acceptance to those so desperately in need. In the future, we want Hopeful Cases to play for charitable causes throughout NYC, so that change can happen close to home.
