Our purpose is to raise fund for improving the quality of life of the mentally and physically challenged, old aged and depressed people of every caste and religion, creating an environment conducive to their growth in a holistic manner, physically, mentally and spiritually, to enable them as far as possible to become self-reliant and fit in to live in the society
Beneficiaries are more but support system to feed them treat them is very less. we find it very difficult to maintain their basic facilities such as giving them food, shelter to live, medicines etc. as most of them are psychiatric patients and helpless. It helps reach beyond geographies
Seon Ashram Runs this Ashram since 1999 in a remote village named Gandibagilu, which is in Belthangady Taluk, Dakshina Kannada Distrct, Karnataka state, India. Since then it is serving hundreds disabled destitutes in their basic necessities.
Seon Ashram Trust(R) is registered charitable trust started in 1999. This Ashram is situated in an interior place called Gandibagilu in Belthangady Taluk of Dakshina Kannada District in Karnataka State.
Over the years Seon Ashram Trust has served thousands of people. At Present ashram takes care of 312 patients without discrimination of caste and creed, expanding its service to people with mentally retardMentally ill, aged, orphan, Physically Handicapped and the destitute school going children.
We will be utilising the fund for providing our inmates the adequate food/Nutrition, medicines for the old aged and mentally ill persons, and also maintaining their basic requirements.
By the fund we Ensure a sound and friendly environment for the poor helpless and destitute Old aged persons towards achieving a promising peaceful conditions for them fostering their physical, mental, social and spiritual development and well being as well
Apart from medications, we need to involve them in various activities like crafts work, drawing, English classes, indoor and outdoor activities, vegetable gardening, Agarbatti making (instance stick) goat and cow rearing, helping in construction works and so on which help them to develop their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and also help the inmates to work independently when they go back to society. the fund will be utilised for these vocational training purposes.
