After 30 days of lockdown, we took a drive to the grocery store.
The roads of Mumbai, were uninhabited, but I could see some people on the roadside, anxiously looking at every vehicle passing by.
They had a strange piercing look.
As I got off the car, a granny, with a torn mask on her face, sheepishly, asked me for some food. She kept saying in broken hindi, "I am not a beggar, I sell flowers here. But, there are no buyers now. I have not had food since 2 days, I am hungry, so is my family. Could you buy me something from the store?"
That was the moment of realization.
For many of us, our current problem is just "boredom". However, there are many out there, who are not sure, if they will survive this lockdown.
