VACCINATION DRIVE FOR STREET DOGS

Dear Friends

My name is Mandar and I reside in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. I along with my friend, Anand, who is veterinarian practicing since 3 years, want to run a vaccination drive for street dogs in Aurangabad.

There is a Canine Distemper outbreak all over Aurangabad. Unfortunately, there is no cure for Canine Distemper. It is highly contagious but easily preventable by vaccinating the dogs not affected by it. The community dog feeders are initiating vaccination drives in their respective areas to protect the dogs from the disease. Our aim to vaccinate as many dogs as we can before they contract this disease.

Anand and I are targeting to vaccinate about 120 dogs in our vicinity. We have vaccinated around 10 dogs out of our pocket but since it is a costly vaccine, we need funds to cover the vaccination cost for the remaining dogs. C3 Vaccine costs 2500-2800 Rupees which we can't afford to cover anymore. Therefore we are crowdfunding to cover the vaccination cost of nearly 120 dogs.

Please do come forward to donate and bear the cost of vaccination of atleast one dog. Your help can go a long way in saving the lives of these dogs.
