What is 100for1000?
At Samarpana, we have taken a pledge to support 1000s of local folk artists from Tamil Nadu whose lives have come to a stand still because of the lockdown. Since their income was almost entirely dependent on the earnings they make during the temple festivals and other functions from March to July, they are currently in immense distress. With not enough money even for their daily meals, many are starving and their dignity is at stake.
Through this campaign we request the each one of you to donate a minimum of Rs100 to feed a hungry folk artist for one day. 
We hope to make this a mass movement where many good hearts come together to donate many 100s and reach our goal of 20 lakhs. We hope through this fundraiser we are able to make things a little better for these folk artists. We have over 17000 folk artists just in Chennai and close to 1,00,000 in TamilNadu. Let us together end hunger for our folk artists.
