BRING SUSTAINABLE CHANGE TO A CHILD’S FUTURE.
STRIVE brings together underprivileged children from slums. Through sports we teach them life skills and keep them away from unlawful active

Raisah Ila Panda was inspired by a Sports for Development discussion she attended in 2017.  This led to her combining her passion for sports and community building to set up Strive in 2018 at the age of 15. The aim of the initiative is to use soccer coaching to bring about inclusiveness for marginalised children.

Your contribution will help Raisah give uniforms and shoes to the 70 children from Ambedkar Basti who have joined the Strive initiative.  The donation will also assist in hiring coaches for 3 training  sessions per week and also be used to buy the required training equipment such as footballs, cones, ladders and goal posts.

This underprivileged children mentored under this program gain confidence, feel a sense of belonging and embrace positive behaviour towards being model citizens. The initiative also gives them an opportunity to play in school, local competitions and the Slum Soccer inclusion cup.

Inspire: We bring together underprivileged children from the slums to reflect on their experiences in life.

Promote: We implement this sports based initiative which will help underserved kids develop positive behavior to keep them away from unlawful activities.

Advocate: We teach our participants gender equality through participation.

Opportunity: We give them a platform to foster, develop and promote competitive sports, life skills and education.
