Hello everyone,

Life is about what you have today and what you really  want it to be like

My name is Govind, 25 years old and I am physically challenged. My right arm is absent and the left one is partially developed with only two fingers since birth. Though this disability has physically and emotionally brought many challenges in my life but my motivation and love towards life and  opportunities in the form of other gifts have gradually helped me in pushing my own limits and celebrating my life. But for this I needed to come out of comfort zone . With this spirit I completed a solo bicycle journey from Udaipur to Bangalore, a 1700 Kms route which took me around 19 days and trip from Manali to KhardungLa (11 days , 550 KM, 18380 ft. Height) tandem cycling expedition, Organised by 'Adventures beyond barriers' a venture which organises Adventure sports event for physically disabled people. 

During the Ladakh trip, my cycle had gears which were in hand control and I could not use them. It was quite difficult for me to cycle on steep mountains without changing gear  but my indomitable spirit didn’t stop me to reach to Ladakh by cycling. This time I found a person Praveen Prabhakaran, the founder of Psynyde Bikes" who will design a customised Bicycle as per my body shape. With this new bicycle with gears in the foot, my next dream is to cycle to Bhutan.
